Tinsel is conveniently ignoring that he was the one who took them out of safety in the first place, of course.
After having started Paladins’ Haven as a more gag-oriented comic, I found I enjoyed storytelling much more than making silly jokes, and as such, this complete reset of the comic was born. The start of this first storyline takes place a significant amount of time before Haven was founded.
